10" x 41.5” banner
ink and acrylic on canvas, brass grommets
There is nothing quite like being young and in love - that butterflies-in-your-stomach feeling you got when you were a teenager in the 80s and your crush asked you to to go to the movies...young love feels electric, exhilarating, hopeful and exciting. There's nothing quite like that neon-style young love, but love continues to be a beautiful thing even if it changes while it transitions from young love to mature love.
This banner serves as a visual reminder to recognize all the different types of love: love for family, love for Self, romantic love, love for friends, love for animals, for the Earth. Love is love, and it is always worth celebrating.
This banner is a painted interpretation of the I (Heart) Art series of prints that you can see here. If you like this one-of-a-kind banner but it is sold out, please get in touch with the artist here to inquire about commissioning a similar piece.
More info about this product:
This banner is made of 10oz cotton canvas and features brass grommets with-hand-dyed cotton rope for hanging. The banners are made out of off-cuts of canvas that were left over from large paintings, and all vary slightly in size. The frayed edges will not continue to fray unless they are prompted by pulling strings. This banner is easy to ship because it rolls up into a compact size. If you purchase this banner you will be contacted by the artist for more information about pick-up options in downtown Hamilton, Ontario, or delivery/shipping information. Please note that the buyer is responsible for any shipping charges and/or for picking up the painting, but the artist will facilitate the process by obtaining quotes, packaging the product safely, and bringing it to a shipping centre at no extra cost. Please note that this banner is not ideal for hanging in a wet space or outdoors where there is a lot of humidity as the ink may continue to run. Reach out to the artist directly through the Contact page for any inquiries regarding this piece.
