Anthony is a tattooer and oil painter working in the Hamilton area, his focus is on realistic work in both mediums. Tattooing since 1999 and painting since 2012, he strives to create engaging still life and portraiture using his attention to detail and bold colour.
THE STORY:
My paintings wake me up in the night and force me to work when I want to be sleeping. I fixate, I obsess, until I finish, then they let me rest until the next idea invades. My focus is strictly on oil, the order in still life becoming a therapeutic exercise to deal with anxiety and depression.
