12" x 12"
acrylic, ink & pastel on wood panel
Fellow Hamiltonians will be able to appreciate the concept behind this Study Panel that was inspired by a visit to Bayfront at sunset. It's that time of year when the boats are back in the water, docked closely together, waiting for their beloved keepers to take them out to open water. They bob and sway in the gentle wake of the bay altogether but each with their own name and memories of summers past.
More about this product:
A study is a loose and fun exploration usually of a concept or subject matter. This panel was created without the intention of subject matter, in fact, the goal was simply to experiment and play with different shapes, markings, colours and composition and the overall feeling that the painting can convey. A wood panel of this size is very lightweight, only ¼" thick, and can be easily displayed by leaning on a surface, or mounted inside a floating frame for a more polished look. This product is easy to ship thanks to the small size. P
lease note that the buyer is responsible for any shipping charges, but the artist will facilitate the process by obtaining quotes, packaging the product safely, and bringing it to a shipping centre at no extra cost. Reach out to the artist directly through the Contact page for any inquiries regarding this piece.
