Acrylic, ink & pastel on wood panel
There's nothing like getting ice cream at Hutch's at Bayfront in the summertime - especially those last-minute drives to the waterfront for sunset, just in time to score an ice cream before closing time! This Study was a fun exploration of the senses while eating cookies and cream in a cup at Bayfront - the vibrant colors of the sunset, the smell of the warm summer air, the sounds of the patrons at the lineup at Hutch's, and that feeling of eating cold ice cream on a perfect summer night before it melts.
More about this product:
A study is a loose and fun exploration usually of a concept or subject matter. This panel was created without the intention of subject matter, in fact, the goal was simply to experiment and play with different shapes, markings, colours and composition and the overall feeling that the painting can convey. A wood panel of this size is very lightweight, only ¼" thick, and can be easily displayed by leaning on a surface, or mounted inside a floating frame for a more polished look. This product is easy to ship thanks to the small size. Please note that the buyer is responsible for any shipping charges, but the artist will facilitate the process by obtaining quotes, packaging the product safely, and bringing it to a shipping centre at no extra cost. Reach out to the artist directly through the Contact page for any inquiries regarding this piece.
