Hamilton-based artist collective, Apostoleas, presented an immersive audio-visual experience at the Casbah in downtown Hamilton during Arts Week on June 6 2024.
Live music inspired live painting while video was recording the experience and being projected onto the various surfaces of the venue including the walls, ceiling and floor.
This esoteric and exciting musical-visual activation resulted in every member of the group interacting with one another via their own medium - the ultimate form of solitary practice meets creative collaboration. Projection of video that looped and changed along with the visual and musical accompaniement created a haunting visual landscape - a celebration of creative call-and-response through various media with a focus on the beauty of ephemerality.
